Larson's 72 Earns a Spot in the MGA Mid-Players' Championship

  JORDAN, Minn. – Jesse Larson fired an even par 72 Monday at Ridges at Sand Creek to earn a spot to earn medalist honors and as well a spot in the Minnesota Golf Association Mid-Players’ Championship.

The qualifier was comprised of 25 players who were competing for three qualifying spots for the championship, which will be held co-currently with the MGA Senior Players’ Championship, June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club.

Larson, LeSueur Country Club, played the front nine at 1-under par 35 before shooting 1-over par 37 on the back to card 72 and qualify.

Joining Larson at the Mid-Players’ will be Tom Heidrick, Valleywood Golf Course, and Jamie Quesnel, Twin Cities Golf Club, who both carded a 3-over par 75.

Gus Kellom, Rush Creek Golf Club, and Brent Lexvold, Valleywood Golf Course, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
