MONTICELLO, Minn. -- McKenzie Neisen shot a 2-over par 74 to earn medalist honors at Monticello Country Club and will advance to the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship.
The qualifier at Monticello Country Club was played July 2 to determine the field at the 65th U.S. Girls' Junior Championship July 22-27 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Neisen, New Prague, Minn., will be joined by Rebecca Klongland, Stoughton, Wisc., Isabelle Kane, Winnetka, Ill., and by Gabrielle Curtis of Eau Claire, Wisc., all of whom finished at 3-over par 75.
Celia Kuenster, Mendota Heights, Minn., and Alexis Biedrzycki, New Lennox, Ill., finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
