Anderson Medals, Two Others Qualify for MGA Senior Players' Championship

  CHASKA, Minn. – Marc Anderson carded a 6-over par 78 Wednesday at Dahlgreen Golf Club to earn medalist honors as well as a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Senior Players’ Championship.

A field of 11 players competed for three spots to this year’s championship, which will be played co-currently with the MGA Mid-Players’ Championship June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club in Wayzata, Minn.

Redman, Minnesota Valley Country Club, will be joined by MGA Executive Director, Tom Ryan, who carded a 79, and by Bill Anderson, Bent Creek Golf Club, who claimed the final qualifying spot with an 8-over par 80.

Tim Gonsior, Golden Valley Golf and Country Club, and Carl Horsch Jr., Hazeltine National Golf Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
