Roth Shoots 70 to Qualify for MGA Mid-Players' Championship

  CHASKA, Minn. – A 2-under par 70 by Aaron Roth Wednesday at Dahlgeen Golf Club, earned Roth medalist honors as well as a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Mid-Players’ Championship.

A field of 24 players competed for four spots to this year’s championship, which will be played co-currently with the MGA Senior Players’ Championship June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club in Wayzata, Minn.

Roth, Chaska Town Course, will be joined by Joe Conzemius, Cannon Golf Club, and Scott Thomas, Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, who both fired rounds of even par 72, while Justin Burleson, Valleywood Golf Course, claimed the final qualifying spot with a 1-over par 73.

Ted Vickerman, Chaska Town Course, and David Anderson, Chaska Town Course, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
