2021 Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf Finalists Announced

EDINA, Minn. (June 14, 2021) -- The Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf Committee is pleased to announce the 2021 finalists of top female and male high school senior golfers in Minnesota. They are:

From the group of finalists, two individual golfers will be presented with the award,
Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf, at 1 p.m., Saturday June 19 at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins, Minn.
Kate Smith, the inaugural (2016) Ms. Minnesota Golf Award winner, is the guest speaker. Smith, a new graduate of the University of Nebraska where she helped her team to a tie for second place at the 2021 Big Ten Championship while winning the individual championship, was recently named honorable-mention All American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. Smith was invited to play in the 2021 Augusta National Women’s Amateur and, most recently, participated on the U.S. squad at the 2021 Arnold Palmer Cup, June 11-13 (Team USA defeated the Internationals, 33-27).
About the Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf Award
The annual award was created in 2016 to recognize the outstanding male and female high school senior golfer based on their performance on the golf course, academic achievement and strength of character. Finalists are chosen by a committee of high school coaches and amateur golf representatives.
