Entry Fee: $500 per team
Entry is limited to the first 44 four-person teams to enter.
Players are encouraged to enter all MGA events online. Entry forms will not be accepted prior to Monday, April 2, 2012, but must arrive by the deadline of Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at the office of the Minnesota Golf Association. Entry is on a first-come basis, and the full entry fee must accompany the entry form.
Late or incomplete entries are not acceptable and will be returned. Entries submitted by telephone, email or fax are not acceptable. Time limit for entries means time of receipt by the MGA.
Entries with insufficient funds will be considered incomplete and will be withdrawn. The entrant is responsible for any fees incurred by the MGA for such payment and must pay such fees before entry into further MGA events is allowed.
Entries are open to amateur golfers:
Teams can be comprised of men and women.
All entries are subject to rejection at any time by the MGA Tournament Committee.
NOTE: Players do not need to be from the same club.
The MGA Net Team Championship is made up of four-person teams which are divided into two 2-person squads. The format is 36 holes with the low net score of each squad on each hole being combined for a Team total. The event is conducted the Tuesday-Wednesday immediately following Labor Day. Grand View Lodge has hosted this event since its inception with the permanent trophy named The Pines Cup.
Perennial players keep returning to this event because it is one of the best golf values in the state. Included with each player's entry is:

1 Round of Golf at The Pines Golf Course
A Players' Dinner, including two drink tickets, after Day 1
A Buffet Lunch after Day 2
Range Balls on both days of the competition

The MGA Amateur Net Team Championship provides teams with a great opportunity to take a rewarding golf vacation while at the same time testing their skills against some of Minnesota's other great four man teams, on two of the Brainerd Lakes Area's most scenic and challenging courses!
