Qualifying Spots: 5      Alternates: 2

Format/Qualifying Places: Format is 18-holes, stroke play. The field of contestants will compete for qualifying places and two alternate positions in Sectional Qualifying for the 123 rd United States Open Golf Championship to be played June 15-18 at Los Angeles Country Club, Los Angeles, California.

Paperwork: A copy of the Local Rules, Hole Location Sheet and USGA Hard Card will be available for taking a picture if you have not downloaded a copy to your phone in advance. There WILL NOT be paper copies at your Starting Tee.

ELECTRONIC SCORING: The official method of scoring will be electronic by use of the Golf Genius Mobile App. Paper scorecards WILL NOT provided to players for the purpose of scoring. Players should review the printed and video educational information posted on the Qualifying webpage to be prepared for this process. Also, players should make sure their mobile devices are fully charged prior to beginning play and to have charging cables for use between rounds.

Playoffs: In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position and/or the 1st and 2nd alternate positions, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held immediately following the completion of play. All announcements regarding the playoff will be made at the public scoreboard upon completion of the qualifying round.
