Additional Information

FORMAT:
The event is 36-holes with the following formats:
Day 1: Four-Ball, Stroke Play  NOTE: In a Net competition, players receive 85% of their Course Handicap.
Day 2: Modified Chapman.  This format has both players playing from the respective teeing areas. Players then play their partner's ball for the second shot. (Player 1 plays the ball of Player 2 and vice versa.)  This is true even on par 3 holes.  If a ball is not in the hole after each player has had the opportunity to play two shots, the team selects one of the balls and continues to alternate shots from that point. (Player 2's drive, Player 1's second shot, Player 2 will play the 3rd shot.)  NOTE: Teams must continue playing the ball that was selected; players may not change the ball itself.  Team handicaps are calculated by taking 60% of the lower Course Handicap and 40% of the higher Course Handicap.

Only teams in the Championship Division are eligible to win the MGA Mixed Team Championship.  Flight winners are decided only from those teams witihin each flight.  In the Senior Flight, winners are recognized for both Net and Gross scores, but a team cannot win in both categories.

In the event of a tie for the Championship and Senior Gross division, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.  A tie for first in any other flight will be determined by a scorecard playoff following the recommended USGA procedure.
